about Pokémon base unlimited

The Basic, Base Set Pokemon Cards, released in December 1998, was the first set to be released. This set consists of 102 pokemon cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the only one so far not to have a set logo or symbol (with the exception of the error “no symbol” Jungle set cards).. It is one of few sets to include Fighting, Fire, Grass, Lightning, Psychic and Water Energys, and a special double colorless energy, now commonly known as basic Energy. The game was first published in North America by Wizards of the Coast and Nintendo USA took over North American publication of the series in 2003.
The set is one of the more well-rounded sets available, with a mixed amount of Pokémon of all types, and includes Pokémon that were more popular at the time of release, such as Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Pikachu. The set’s four main theme decks were represented by Ninetales, Mewtwo, Gyarados and Hitmonchan, and its starter set theme deck by Machamp (always in first edition).
